This year, we’ll return to the storied New England town in Hocus Pocus 2. High schooler Max Dennison, on a not-so-subtle quest to impress his crush, lights the Black Flame Candle, prompting the rousing of the witches, who immediately set forth to wreak havoc in modern-day Salem, Massachusetts. Starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, Hocus Pocus chronicles the accidental awakening of the Sanderson Sisters, three centuries after they were executed.
